Upgrading/ improvement of fire safety of 18th. Century Georgian premises consisting of three joined Georgian buildings within live second level and third level musical institution. (funded by Department of Education and Science )
The upgrading of fire safety works were undertaken on a phased basis while keeping the school operation underway. There were particular challenges in keeping the historic fabric intact while implementing a major upgrading of the M&E services, fire safety and fire compartmentation and protection.
Restoration of historic interiors; and PSDS ; the buildings contained a number of important panelled timber rooms.
