Fire Engineer & Senior Architectural Technologist

Tom Smith has been a member of the team at BLUETT & O’DONOGHUE since 2019. Tom has a strong understanding of fire safety and disability access / egress requirements for both existing and new developments. Tom’s recent projects include, the conservation, upgrade and extension of the historic Sessions House, Thomastown as a new third-level jewellery school for Kilkenny County Council, the upgrading of therapy and administration facilities in Dublin 1 for the HSE, fire safety assessments for community dwellings, fire safety and upgrade of multi-storey office developments and schools, as well as the visitors’ centre and refurbishment and conservation works at Mount Congreve Estate, Co Waterford for Mount Congreve Trust.
