Description
The development consisted of the alterations/upgrading of the existing secondary school (c.1,800sq.m) and the construction of two storey extension ( c.2100sq.m) including specialist rooms, new main entrance, gymnasium and associated dressing rooms and toilet accommodation. The work also included the provision of new vehicular entrances and associated paths and signage, new ball courts, and new effluent treatment plant.
The design allowed the extension to be constructed and completed without disruption to the existing school and the operation of the school. The design maximises the amount of natural light entering into the building.
